Installation of Your Garden

If you decide to hire me to install your garden, I will work out a schedule with you that meets both our needs. The procedure for installation is as follows:

First comes demolition of any existing structures or plants that we plan to replace. This phase includes removal and disposal of sod, old buidling materials, and any trees we no longer want.

Next we do any tree trimming on existing trees on your property.

Next we prepare the soil for planting, adding compost and topsoil to improve soil fertility and texture.

We deal with any drainage problems and pre-engineer for future needs before we install any new structures.

Next comes what we call "hardscape," which is decks, patios, walkways, retaining walls - anything we need to build.

After this we plant trees, then shrubs, then perennials, annuals, ground cover, and bulbs.
